Wow, what an incredible year we’ve had with KGF! 🎉 Here’s a quick recap:
8 main challenges and 6 Member challenges
Not a single week without classes recorded or recommended by me!
That’s 227 classes—equivalent to 6,810 minutes or 113.5 hours of exercise this year!
Maybe some of you joined me for a challenge, two or more!
Or maybe you’ve been on the fence, not knowing where to start.

Here are my top tips for 2025!
Know your “Why.” Write down your pain point – what you don’t like about your current situation or the problems you are facing. Then write down the positive change you are seeking! Whether it’s to feel more energized throughout your day, or remain strong as you age, or set a healthy example for your kids, your “why” will keep you motivated.
Something is better than Nothing. Research shows that even brief bursts of activity (like squats, stair climbing, or jumping jacks) can improve your health. These “Exercise Snacks” can be done in as little as 20–60 seconds, 3–8 times a day. Every bit counts! From the article linked below: “Recent research demonstrates that regardless of the duration, every engagement in physical activity can positively impact overall physical health.” Read more here: [ScienceDirect Article]
Progress over Perfection. Every day is a fresh start. Missed yesterday’s workout? Don’t beat yourself up—start again today.
Stick to short workouts starting out to get small wins! If consistency feels hard, start small. Focus on bite-sized classes or even a single set of exercises. Small wins build momentum over time.
Find something you like! Fitness should be enjoyable. Explore different types of movement until you find one you genuinely love—whether it’s dance, yoga, or hiking.
For the Consistent Cats ready to level up, here are some tips to take your fitness further:
Add more cardio. While KGF focuses on strength and mobility, extra aerobic activity is a great addition. Try:
Indoor walking tracks or walking pads for desk jobs
Biking or treadmills (perfect for multitasking with TV or podcasts)
Outdoor walks, jogging, or hiking—even in winter!
Explore sports. Sports are a fun and social way to stay active. Try pickleball, badminton, swimming, or create your own club with friends. You’re never too old to discover a new passion!
Here’s to thriving in 2025—stronger, healthier, and happier! 🥂
