Like I’ve said before – motivation is great and AWESOME when it happens! But 9 times out of 10 it’s not going to be present.
This is why goal setting is so important.
Everyone who signs up for my challenges gets goal setting guidance right away – because I KNOW that it’s the thing to get you started on the right path and get you where you want to go.
Goals guide us. And when we have days that are hard (which are guaranteed to come) they remind us why we’re doing what we’re doing.
So do the dang goal setting. Then do the work! You’re the ONLY one who can do it. Yes, give yourself grace on hard days, but do what you can do… it’s usually more than you think!
Every time we get a workout done on a hard day, it builds our confidence in ourselves even more. But the opposite is also true. Self discipline isn’t easy, but it does get easier the more you do it. GO GET AFTER IT!
